  • Free the surface from loose material, grease, and oil by grit blasting or water jet
  • Dry the surface completely
  • SUNEPOXY 358 has a 2:1 resin: hardener volume-based ratio
  • Mix the materials thoroughly
  • Apply the first coat of mix by brush as the priming coat
  • While the priming coat is wet and tacky, place the epoxy mortar in the required thickness
  • Level with a trowel
  • Prepare a seal coat & apply this mix with a soft paintbrush over the mortar layer

SUNEPOXY 368: Two-component, low-viscosity epoxy resin [injection grout material]
  • Used as a repair material in small gaps, cracks, honeycombs, etc., where no other material can reach
  • The use of cement grout may not be efficient due to high shrinkage, low bond, and tensile strength
  • Hence, very low-viscosity epoxy injection grout often solves the problem and provides structural integrity
  • High bond strength, good tensile strength, low viscosity, and early curing
  • SUNEPOXY 368 has a 3:1 resin: hardener volume-based ratio
  • Remove loose, disintegrated, and porous concrete at cracks and joints
  • Drill injection holes to a depth of 2-4 inches in the concrete
  • The drilling of holes depends on 3 factors
  • The 3 factors are the width of the cracks, the extent of damage, and the dimensions of the structural elements
  • Inject the mixture of epoxy resin and hardener at a pressure of 50-100 psi

SUNEPOXY 378: Two-component, medium viscosity epoxy resin
  • Repairing old & new concrete surfaces in the following areas -

  • Used as a gap-filling adhesive, bedding bridge beams
  • Steel bridge bearings, securing bolts into walls, etc
  • Conforms to ASTM C 881-99, type 1, grade 3, Class B & C
  • Low odour during application
  • Provides non-absorbent, non-dusting, chemical-resistant surface
  • Bonds tenaciously to become an integral part of the floor
  • High tensile and high compressive strength
  • Thixotropic, so non-sagging
  • Clean all surfaces dry and make them free of any oily residue which will interfere with proper adhesion
  • All cracks over 2 mm wide should be routed out to a 6 mm width and 6 mm depth before application
  • Fill routed-out cracks and cut joints with SUNEPOXY 378 (MORTAR)
  • Apply the material over the rest of the surface
  • For patching, spread with a trowel to the required level
  • Use a thin coat of solvent on the trowel to aid workability
